Update to the REH Editorial Guidelines and Structure

The Revista Eletrônica Estudos Hegelianos has introduced a series of changes to its editorial guidelines and editorial team. These changes are intended to improve editorial procedures, increase the transparency of the journal’s policies, meet the requirements of indexing services, and expand its presence in national and international indexes.

The new Author Guidelines apply to all submissions made on or after 18 August 2026. The main changes include updated submission requirements, templates, and bibliographic reference guidelines, as well as the adoption of a specific policy on the use of generative artificial intelligence tools in the preparation of manuscripts.

Since they were announced before these changes came into effect, the following special issues will be published according to the previous guidelines and template:

• Commemorative Issue: 250 Years of F. W. J. Schelling, scheduled for publication in the second half of 2026;
• Hegel and Contemporary Theories of Cognition, scheduled for publication in the second half of 2026;
• Hegel Conference in Manaus, scheduled for publication in the first half of 2027.

The regular issue based on continuous submissions scheduled for the second half of 2026 will also be published according to the previous guidelines.

With this update, REH reaffirms its commitment to academic quality, editorial transparency, open access, and the best practices adopted by national and international academic journals.
