Plagiarism Screening Policy

The Revista Eletrônica Estudos Hegelianos adopts procedures for verifying originality and academic integrity. Submissions may be assessed using text-similarity detection tools, manual searches of academic databases, and internal editorial analysis.

The identification of textual similarity does not in itself establish plagiarism. Each case will be examined by the Editorial Team, taking into account the context, the extent of the matching text, the presence or absence of appropriate citation, and the nature of the reproduced material.

When indications of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, redundant publication, or improper use of sources are identified, the journal may request clarification from the authors, require corrections, reject the manuscript, or, in the case of already published texts, publish an erratum, expression of concern, or retraction.
