Hegel, Nature, and Culture in the Age of the Anthropocene

The Revista Eletrônica Estudos Hegelianos invites participants of the 13th International Conference of the Brazilian Hegel Society, “Hegel, Nature, and Culture in the Age of the Anthropocene,” held in Manaus in December 2025, to submit revised and expanded versions of their conference papers for possible publication in a special issue of the journal.

The volume will include invited contributions by:

  • Wolfgang Neuser (Technische Universität Kaiserslautern)
  • Vladimir Safatle (Universidade de São Paulo)
  • Falko Schmieder (Leibniz-Zentrum für Literatur- und Kulturforschung)
  • Christine Blättler (Universität zu Kiel)

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online platform, using the journal template available on the REH website, and and must fully comply with the Author Guidelines available here.

Exceptionally for this special issue, manuscripts should contain between 5,200 and 7,800 words, while complying with all other editorial requirements of the journal.

  • Submission deadline: 30 October 2026.
  • Expected publication: First semester of 2027.

All submissions will undergo the journal’s regular double-blind peer review process.
