A liberdade absoluta entre a crítica à representação e o terror

Resumo

RESUMO: O artigo discute a determinação fenomenológica da liberdade absoluta, tal como exposta no capítulo “A Liberdade Absoluta e o Terror” da Fenomenologia do Espírito de Hegel. Inicialmente, o autor apresenta a origem filosófica da Revolução Francesa no pensamento abstrato da Aufklärung (1) e as condições de emergência da liberdade absoluta a partir da utilidade universal (2). Depois disso, tematiza o “mal-entendido” jacobino da “volonté générale” como identidade imediata da “vontade realmente universal” com a “vontade de todos os singulares enquanto tais” (3) e a autoconsciência da liberdade absoluta como crítica a toda representação política (4). Enfim, apresenta a resolução hegeliana da contradição da liberdade absoluta e o duplo registro da sua suspensão (5).

ABSTRACT: This paper discusses the phenomenological determination of absolute freedom, as outlined in the chapter “Absolute Freedom and Terror” of the Phenomenology of the Spirit of Hegel. Initially, the author presents the philosophical origin of the French Revolution in the abstract thought of Aufklärung (1) and the emergency conditions of absolute freedom from the universal utility (2). Then, the author analyzes the “misunderstanding” of the Jacobin “Volonte générale” as the immediate identity “will truly universal” with the “will of all individuals as such” (3) and absolute freedom of self as criticism of all political representation (4). Finally, the author presents the resolution of the Hegelian absolute contradiction of freedom and the double registration of their suspension (5).
