Entendimento e força: Sobre um aspecto fundamental da filosofia da natureza na Fenomenologia do Espírito de Hegel

Resumo

RESUMO: Trata-se de uma consideração em torno do capítulo “Força e Entendimento”, da Fenomenologia do Espírito de Hegel; mais especificamente, da concepção de matéria aí em jogo. Para isso, o autor descreve as linhas gerais da concepção kantiana e da concepção schellinguiana da matéria, apresentando-as como pressupostos da concepção hegeliana da estrutura da matéria. Assim, o texto se inicia com (1) algumas notas sobre o conceito de entendimento e (2) sobre o conceito de força em geral na Crítica da Razão Pura de Kant; seguem-se (3) algumas notas sobre a constituição da matéria nos Primeiros Princípios metafísicos da Ciência da natureza de Kant e (4) as tentativas de Schelling – não posteriores a 1803 – de descrever o início de uma filosofia da natureza, tendo em vista a construção do conceito de matéria. Finalmente, o autor desenvolve (5) algumas observações sobre a estrutura do capítulo ”Força e Entendimento” da Fenomenologia do Espírito de Hegel.

ABSTRACT: This is an account on the chapter “Force and Understanding” in the Phenomenology of the Spirit of Hegel, more specifically, the conception of matter at stake here. For this, the author describes the lines of Kantian and Schellinguian conception of matter, showing them as assumptions of Hegelian conception of the structure of matter. Thus, the text begins with (1) some notes on the concept of understanding and (2) the concept of force in general in the Critique of Pure Reason in Kant, is followed by (3) some notes on the formation of matter in First Metaphysical Principles of Science of the nature of Kant and (4) attempts to Schelling - not later than 1803 - to describe the beginning of a philosophy of nature in order to build the concept of matter. Finally, the author develops (5) some observations on the structure of the chapter “Force and Understanding” of the Phenomenology of the Spirit of Hegel.
