About the Journal
The Revista Eletrônica Estudos Hegelianos (REH) was founded in 2004 by the Brazilian Hegel Society (SHB) directing committee with the goal of promoting the studies and research of Hegel’s philosophy in Brazil. The REH publishes articles normally submitted, as well as fruits of International Congresses and other relevant academic activities organized by the SHB and the larger community of the Hegel-Forschung.
The REH publishes articles, reviews and translations that contribute to the Hegel studies interfacing with Classic German Philosophy, Social Philosophy and the latest contemporary Hegel interpretations. In view of fomenting the international debate, the REH has a twofold objective: (1) to publicize and make accessible for Brazilian researchers and students the most relevant developments within the international Hegel debate and (2) to publicize internationally the Hegel research produced in Brazilian institutions. The contributions' academic excellence is checked by a peer review process undertaken by a selected body of cooperators.
Outline of the journal’s editorial history
REH’s first 6 numbers were edited by prof. Dr. Alfredo Moraes (UFPE). From 2007 on, Prof. Dr. Manuel Moreira da Silva (Unicentro) edited numbers 7 to 10. Numbers 11 to 17 were edited by Prof. Dr. Christian Klotz (UFG). From number 18 up to this day, Prof. Dr. Márcia Gonçalves (UERJ) is REH’s chief-editor. Initially, she was assisted by adjunct-editor Prof. Dr. Federico Sanguinetti (UFRN) and since then the REH has experienced an intense internacional projection. In the present, the board of adjunct-editors is composed by Dr. Emmanuel Nakamura (UP), Prof. Dr. Hernandez Vivian Eichenberger (IFSC), Prof. Dr. Patrícia Riffel de Almeida (Unicentro), Prof. Dr. Polyana Tidre (UFPR) and Dr. Renata Inarah Guerra Santos (USP)
Foco e Escopo
Em sua nova concepção, a Revista Eletrônica Estudos Hegelianos pretende ampliar sua temática, a fim de publicar artigos, resenhas e traduções que contribuam para os estudos hegelianos em sua interface com o desenvolvimento da Filosofia Clássica Alemã e suas interpretações contemporâneas, tendo como única exigência a excelência acadêmica dos trabalhos. Neste sentido, serão bem-vindas submissões que tratem de temáticas comuns a Hegel e aos outros pensadores da Filosofia Clássica Alemã ou que, em discutindo a filosofia desses pensadores, ilumine de algum modo os problemas hegelianos.
Processo de Avaliação pelos Pares
A avaliação dos artigos será efetuada através de parecer de dois membros designados pelo Conselho Editorial, pareceristas ad hoc, escolhidos entre especialistas na temática, em regime de blind review, que avaliarão a pertinência ou não da publicação do artigo. As contribuições podem ser redigidas em português, espanhol, inglês, francês, italiano e alemão.
