Abstract
The aim of this paper is to clarify the need for the transition from Logic to the Philosophy of Nature in Hegel's system and, consequently, to understand the necessary connection of the absolute idea with the nature. The hypothesis to be demonstrated is about the need to manifest the idea in an immediate form of unification between the concept and its effective reality. To better demonstrate this hypothesis, this paper is divided into three parts. In the first two parts, it is intended to demonstrate the influences on Hegel (1) of the Aristotelian concepts of nous and physis and (2) of the Schellingian concepts of absolute and nature. The third and last part deals with the relation itself between idea and nature in Hegel's system.
